Patrick Johnson is the President, CEO, and founder of S3 Consultants LLC. Auditing is in his DNA. Patrick specializes in safety auditing, compliance, and process improvement, helping businesses improve safety management systems across different industries.

Patrick provides clients with clear, independent, and objective value-added audits, approaching every project from a “safety focused” perspective while still ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry best practices. 

Patrick is a former Marine enlisted 7041 (Aviation Operations Specialist), serving in light/attack helicopter squadrons, Base Operations, and as a Presidential Advance Officer with HMX-1. 

Direct experience building audit programs, audit plans, designing audit checklists, conducting interviews, audit preparation, audit execution, and final reporting of audit outputs.

• Over 15 years of direct experience performing audits in both safety, operations, and quality management for NATO / Military, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Transit, Manufacturing, and city government.
• 7 years’ experience in overseeing internal audits against ISO management centers of excellence requirements (ISO 9001,14001, 45001 and 55001).

• Over 10 years of experience in an audit (Safety Assurance) leadership capacity, accountable for developing organizational strategies based on system performance evaluations.
• 2 years of direct Safety Management System and Quality Management System experience as part of an aviation transportation organization. 
• 4 additional years of tactical experience with safety program management within the military contractor industry.
